Maintaining the structural integrity of a building during a fire is critical to protecting life, property, and business continuity. At Hypery International Ltd., we provide fully compliant structural fire protection systems designed and installed in line with UL, FM, BNBC and NFPA codes, as well as auditor requirements such as RSC Bangladesh, Nirapon and Elevated.

Our approach is strictly engineering-driven. Every project begins with a detailed assessment of the building structure, followed by the selection of an appropriate listed system, confirmation of fire rating requirements, and preparation of technical submittals. All documentation, testing references and approvals are maintained throughout the project lifecycle to ensure audit traceability and long-term system reliability.

We provide fire protection for steel structures and structural elements using three internationally recognized application systems:

Applied as a continuous profile to achieve the required fire resistance rating while maintaining architectural aesthetics. Suitable for exposed steelwork and areas where clean finishing is required.

A robust and economical solution for industrial and concealed structural elements, applied as a continuous protective coating over beams and columns to meet required fire ratings.

A non-combustible encasement system using certified gypsum fire-rated boards to achieve structural fire resistance where encasement is preferred by design.

All systems are selected based on UL-listed and internationally tested performance data, ensuring that the applied system matches the structural load condition and limiting steel temperature during fire exposure.

To ensure consistency and reliability, we work with globally recognized manufacturers, including:

  • Carboline – Cementitious and intumescent fireproofing
  • NAFFCO – Passive fire protection materials
  • GCP Applied Technologies – Structural fireproofing systems
  • Gyproc – Fire-rated gypsum encasement systems

Each product is applied strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s engineering guidelines and listed design references.

Structural fire protection requires a high level of technical coordination. We prepare and submit the full set of documentation typically required by auditors such as RSC, including but not limited to:

  • Design philosophy of the structure

  • Manufacturer’s technical datasheets

  • UL / FM listing certificates

  • Site condition declaration

  • Dry Film Thickness (DFT) calculations

  • Structural drawings and section references

  • Environmental and application condition records

  • Applicator qualification and approvals

We ensure that each individual structural element is reviewed for the correct fire rating, design reference and exposure condition (sides exposed, heated perimeter, load type etc.).

Our engineering team also works closely with manufacturers to ensure correct W/D and Hp/A calculations, and verification of proper material thickness as per listed design limitations.

Every project is delivered under a structured methodology:

1. Technical Assessment & Engineering Review

  • Site inspection

  • Review of structural drawings

  • Determination of required fire ratings

  • Selection of listed design references

2. Submittal & Approval

We prepare a complete technical package for auditor and consultant review, including drawings, test data and system method statements.

3. Controlled Application

Our applicators are manufacturer-trained, and our supervisors maintain environmental logs, mixing records, wet film thickness checks, adhesion verification and curing compliance as applicable.

4. Final Reporting & Handover

Upon completion, a Final Completion Report is issued including:

  • Pictorial evidence

  • Application logs

  • Material batch certificates

  • DFT verification (where applicable)

  • System IDs & reference records

This ensures clear audit traceability for the factory and ownership.

Our systems and work procedures comply with:

  • UL Listed Designs
  • FM Approvals
  •  BNBC Requirements
  •  NFPA Fire Codes
  • ASTM Testing Standards

This enables smooth acceptance during RSC / Nirapon / Elevated inspections.

Structural fire protection is not only a compliance requirement—it is a life-safety system. At Hypery International Ltd., we combine engineering accuracy, certified materials, trained applicators and complete documentation to ensure that every protected structure meets its intended fire performance.

We take responsibility for the work we deliver—from design submission to final audit clearance.

Carboline Southwest Type 7GP

Carboline Southwest Type 7GP

A 22 lb./ft³ (352 kg/m³) density (average) SFRM intended for the fire protection of structural columns, beams, joists, decks, walls, roofs, girders, floors and pre-cast concrete units. It is tested and certified for fire resistance ratings up to 4 hours. It was specifically formulated for either unconditioned or conditioned areas such as mechanical rooms, elevator shafts and parking garages.

Carboline TC-55 Sealer

Carboline TC-55 Sealer

TC-55 Sealer may be used as an adhesive and/or sealer with cementitious sprayed fire resistive materials and insulation products. TC-55 Sealer improves adhesive bond of fireproofing and insulation products to steel, concrete and other substrates. When applied as a topcoat/sealer, it improves most physical characteristics, reduces air erosion losses and may be used to color the fireproofing or insulation surface.
