Fire Rated Expansion Joint Systems
Fire-resistant joint systems that allow safe movement between building sections.

Professional Fire Rated Expansion Joint Work-
Fire-rated expansion joints are critical components in maintaining the integrity of fire-resistance-rated assemblies across movement-sensitive sections of a structure. These joints must not only accommodate thermal expansion, contraction, wind sway, or seismic activity — but also effectively resist the passage of flame, smoke, and toxic gases during a fire event.
At Hypery, we specialize in the design, supply, and installation of code-compliant, UL-listed fire-rated expansion joint systems. Engineered for use in high-risk, mission-critical facilities, our solutions are tailored for structural joints in floor-to-floor, floor-to-wall, and wall-to-wall applications — ensuring continuous fire separation without compromising structural flexibility.
Our technical scope includes:
- Installation of tested and listed expansion joint firestop materials
- Use of Elastomeric fire barriers and Elastomeric Spray systems
- Full support for Engineering Judgments and As-Built Technical Documentation
- Coordination with façade and structural engineers for seamless detailing
- System integration for both horizontal and vertical dynamic joints
Quality and Compliance:
All systems are installed under the supervision of trained passive fire protection engineers. Our execution is:
- Third-party audit-ready, aligned with protocols from RSC, Nirapon, and Bureau Veritas
- Supported by material submittals, test certificates, mock-up validations, and project-specific QA/QC protocols
Supported by material submittals, test certificates, mock-up validations, and project-specific QA/QC protocols

We have successfully executed joint firestopping systems on several of Bangladesh’s flagship infrastructure projects. Our systems are rigorously engineered to accommodate movement gaps up to 6 inches, with fire resistance ratings of 2, 3, and 4 hours, verified through UL 2079, ASTM E1966, and relevant NFPA and BNBC standards.
